Richardson Sheffield (RS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of McPherson's Limited. RS began manufacturing kitchen knives in 1839 and launched the first knife block in the 1960's. In 1979, RS gained global recognition with the introduction of Laser Edge - the world's first 'no sharpen' knife. RS today is a dynamic UK company specialising in a wide range of housewares products including knives, scissors, stainless steel accessories, cutlery, solid wood items, kitchen tools and gadgets.
